Before moving to Portland, OR, Justine held the role of Chief Strategy Officer at VaynerX in New York City, a brand new role for the digital-first, full service holding company when Justine joined in 2017. CEO Gary Vaynerchuk described Justine as being the key to “​filling the empathy void​” in the agency marketplace.

Prior to this, Justine created the Catalyst team at media agency, Carat USA as EVP, Head of Strategy and Innovation. At Carat, she cultivated a diverse team of strategists, technologists, and creative media thinkers. During her tenure, Carat was named​ ​AdWeek’s 2016 Media Agency of the Year​ and Justine was included in AdWeek’s 2016 Media All-Star line-up​.

Before moving to the United States, Justine founded The Village, an Australian agency comprised of independently successful marketing and communications experts offering brand strategy, content strategy, and digital strategy, among other consulting services. Built on a uniquely disruptive premise, The Village curated a bespoke team of the highest calibre freelance professionals, precisely fit to solve the challenges of any given client, project or brief.

Her strategic thinking is founded in Brand Experience Strategy, which she honed while in her first strategic role at Jack Morton Worldwide. Brand Experience Strategy considers every interaction with a potential consumer in one cohesive ecosystem. Over many years since, Justine has been the leader, guide, and mentor of multidisciplinary teams of empathetic, strategic thinkers and practitioners at the intersection of Culture, Experience and Attention.

Justine is frequently asked to speak at industry events, and has given talks at​ SxSW V2V​,​ TEDxWomen​,​ 4As Stratfest​,​ Cannes Lions​, and numerous other events across the United States, Europe and Australia. She has served on the advisory boards of AOL, ZEFR, The Salvation Army, and as a judge for The Effies, Cannes Young Lions, Supernormal Awards, WARC Awards and AdWeek’s Media Plan of the Year.
